Art of Energie * light * sound * illusion *

The project

Künstler verarbeiten das Thema Art of Energie in der Lehrofenhalle der Telux. Die alte Halle mit ihrer Industrieromantik lässt an sich schon den einstigen Betrieb erahnen. Die Künstler setzen vom 01.06.2007 bis zum 03.06.2007 während des Stadtfestes in Weißwasser unter dem Arbeitstitel „Art of Energie“ die Lehrofenhalle in Szene. Licht und Klang sollen den Betrachter verzaubern. Während der Ausstellung wird es zusätzlich Konzerte und Lesungen geben. Hierfür steht das geräumige Außengelände zur Verfügung. Um die Ausstellung langfristig zu etablieren wird neben einer Dokumentation von Aufbau bis Abbau ein Künstlerkatalog entstehen, sowie eine Webseite.

The goal Energy stands in direct connection with the city white water. Our city was coined/shaped by energy. We speak of the times, where urgently more area and energy for the life and workers were thus needed, in order to cover the need. White water began to grow. It developed for energy, which one could feel also in the population. Since 1990 the numbers of inhabitants and the city sink seem at energy to lose. As the times, one in addition, the energy change, who grow for years in the city, can feel. Ever more associations and persons engage itself, in order to improve and cultivate the life in white water. So white water can show a small new, but constantly active art scene even since longer. To this dynamics we tie kind OF energy "with the project". We would like humans at our energy sharings to leave and to them a piece of our energy for new ways and possibilities give. We would like to reach that humans recognize own resources, use and with them to deal to learn. The support of the art scene and the establishment of cultural activities we want to make the exhibition the firm component with future city celebrations.
